Would've been 5 stars if there was only The Watery Realm because damn, that shit hurt and hit way too close to home.

4.5 / Lo terminé ayer a la noche siendo un mar de lágrimas

Es precioso, muy poético, pero también son dos historias con un hilo conductor bastante fuerte: una hija que no llegó a conocer a su padre porque éste se suicido cuando ella tenía 1 año (evidentemente es autoficción de su propia vida ya que Yuko Tsushima es la hija de Shūji Tsushima, osea, Dazai Osamu). Eso solo ya sería bastante fuerte, pero me pareció súper interesante lo introspectivo y reflexivo que es acerca de cómo es perder a un familiar a quien básicamente no conociste y qué tipo de relación se puede construir cuando del otro lado hay un pared que no podes atravesar...

I actually enjoyed the first story - The Watery Realm - more than I enjoyed the titular story. The Watery Realm was very interesting and observed stories and family in such a fascinating and anecdotal way.
