I LOVED this book. As much as I enjoyed book 1 (Tasting Red), I enjoyed this one even more.
I’m DEFINITELY picking up book 3 when it comes out (scheduled for fall of 2024)

When I picked up the book it wasn’t what I was expecting and I’m here for it! From the characters descriptions to the layout of the rooms there was always something that peaked my interest. The friendship in this book is something I loved to read about along with Teds family. And the chemistry those two have(Goldie and Ted), I was just waiting for more scenes together!!
The twists and turns this book had me on

In this Goldilocks retelling, Goldie has just moved into a new house, she is friends with everyone and a pure sunshine. Her new neighbor Ted is a grumpy werebear, who enjoys his space and solitude, but Goldie is going to do all she can to make him like her.
It doesn't help that Goldie is developing new abilities and all the guys started noticing her, and somehow she waking up in Ted's house every morning (in his brothers' bed) with no memory of how whatsoever.
I love Ted! He is the perfect grumpy with a heart of gold!
The way he treats Goldie and makes her feel like she can finally be herself is beautiful!
Goldie is really relatable to me in some aspects, the plus size representation really shows how most of plus size girls feel. Also, her trauma with past friendships is also something I found relatable and well described.
Right in the end, there was a scene I felt like it shouldn't have been there because it contradicts other scenes.
Compared to the first book of the series, this one was more a slow burn and not as spice, but there was still great spice.
I really enjoyed this reading overall, and we got to see our dear characters from Tasting Red.
