This book is written for younger people, and I think the short essay format makes it pretty accessible. It's a good introduction to the issues refugees face.

I’ve read this book from Morocco and it is easily one of the best books I have read in a long time. The stories that Malala has shared are so deeply impactful and made me genuinely emotional. This book is as gut wrenching as it is inspiring. Seeing so many young women aspire to be something more and knowing the tragic and traumatic things they have experienced could motivate anyone for Malala’s cause. These women are passionate, inspiring, and resilient in the face of terror. Read this book, feel their pain, and do something. As always, thank you for listening.

A set of short but deeply affecting displacement stories told by the people who lived them. Recommended.
