This was such a cute fun story! I’ve been waiting on Imogen and Tommy’s story for a while and was not disappointed! I think one of my favorite parts about their dynamic was that she purposely got under his skin! Lol like full-blown had him frustrated. I enjoyed Tommy’s dedication to protecting her and proving he was trustworthy. The villain/villains happening at the expense of what took place in Book 2 with the Bully Boys did surprise me but made sense. I felt so bad for Tommy at the end but he got vengeance for himself and his family! Imogen and Tommy’s back and forth on who is worthy of what makes sense because they both were coming from a place where they felt like neither was enough for the other. I’m so glad they got over that! I enjoyed this book! I think it’s my second favorite in the series! The narration was great per usual! Lastly, that epilogue ending has me anxious for the next book! I have soooo many questions!

I’d give this book 6 stars out of 5 if I could. What a delightful, sexy romp!

Sarah MacLean, I still love you. The covers have gotten less regency romance and more modern/Bridgerton style but overall enjoyed. May be middle tier of her books for me. I just loved the series with day of the duchess. But I do enjoy all her end of book references from her studying and notes while writing the book.

This was my first book in this series so I feel that my rating might be a bit unfair. I am going to read the first two books then do a reread and I'm sure the rating will change.
I thought each book in the series could be read as a standalone as a lot of historical romance books can be.
