This is the 2nd Chandler Morrison book after Dead Inside, which the security guard has a cameo in one of these stories, This book lacked the humour that Dead Inside has, the writing was good, but the anti Christian theme seamed a bit preachy at times.

My third book by Chandler Morrisson and he didn’t disappoint me. I’m not a huge fan of short stories; it’s just not my thing. When I started this book, I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but wow, it was insane. Sometimes it was disturbing, other times extremely gory, and at times, it made me want to go under the shower, hug myself, and cry. The absolute top-notch is the last story—batshit crazy. What the hell (literally)? I’ve never read something like that before, and it was the pinnacle of absurdity. I swear, if I had gone to church right after finishing this book, I would have burst into flames.
PS: If you read „Dead Inside“ and „Hate to feel“ you will have a lovely reunion 😉

The first story seemed pointless, so I didn't feel intrigued enough to continue.

Very dark and fucked up, I like the short stories and how he pulls them together nicely in the end. Stays true to his writing very fucked up.
