3 1/2 stars. It was a fun, easy contemporary romance. I enjoyed the baseball theme and Kari’s devotion to studying medicine. The best scene is Kari’s confrontation with her old boyfriend near the end of the book.

3.5 Stars. I absolutely loved "Chances Are" so I was excited to learn there was a sequel! I liked the continuing story of Ben and Maya, and I enjoyed Ryan and Kari's story for the most part. They had some communication issues that were definitely not sufficiently worked out by the end. So it wasn't as good as the first one, but it was a fun read with lots of romance and baseball so I enjoyed it.

A sweet story with some baseball thrown in. I enjoyed seeing some of the characters from "Chances Are" again. There wasn't a lot of suspense or danger as there often is in this author's stories, but I enjoyed it!

It was cute, but I didn’t love it like I loved Chances Are. That one caught me by the heartstrings. This one felt a little forced, and trite in places. Still a cute, light read, though.

I didn’t like this one as much as the first in this series, Chances Are, but it was still a solid story. It was a bit predictable and Kari seemed too perfect. I did like that we could follow Maya and Ben as Kari and Ryan's story unfolded.
