A weak start to Nick Spencer's run. Peter once again loses everything and has to rebuild. Same as it ever was, Same as it ever was... It just felt like it didn't introduce anything new.

Loads of nice ideas here: taking responsibility, recognising each of us has many dimensions. There's an abundance of this going on.
I'm not a huge fan of this very perfect, more modern style of comic drawing, which is less about ink and more about pixels. But it's very well done and the colors are exceptional. I'll start prefer real halftone though ;)

Picked this up because I decided to put the Amazing Spider-Man on my pull list, so I wanted to start catching up on the story. Im glad i made the decision. These stories really laid out a good foundation and the storyline was a fun read. Plus the Art is awesome. A++

A good introduction to the morals modern Spiderman, although to be honest there's not much spidermanning happening in this book. I hope that we see a lot more of him in following collections.

Finally Spider-Man is back!
No more of the rich industrial world famous scientist - it's just Peter Parker and Spider-Man having problems paying the rent, holding down a job, making bad jokes.
The Spider-Man that I fell in love with in the early 70's (wow I'm old) has finally returned and this volume was fantastic!
Ryan Ottley on pencils is a great choice. He's an amazing artist that brings all of the great aspects of Spider-Man and makes them better (ok I'm a little bit bothered on how he draws feet for the people wearing super-tights (he's fine if you are wearing shoes) but I'll get over it).
I am sooooo looking forward to continuing this series now that it's finally back on track.
Highly recommended - I really had fun with this one.
