This was a fun read. Lighter in tone than the novels that make up A Song of Ice & Fire. Also, one could enjoy this without ever having read ASOIAF. The 3 novellas contained within this volume were a fun distraction, and in the end I wished that there were more tales (or perhaps a full novel-sized story) about Dunk & Egg. I'd love a story set years later when Aegon is all grown-up and on the throne, and Ser Duncan is a member of his Kingsguard.
