What the hell was the therapist's revelation? Doesn't make sense, especially since we barely know anything about her or who she is. Her role in the story is to support Ally, and then, all of a suden, without an actual coherent reason she becomes a murderer. Disappointing.

Kate White could've had the opportunity to involve the husband, the best friend, the ex, even Sasha, for god's sake, but she chooses Dr Erling? Why? The characters barely have any development, except for the main character. So it doesn't make sense. She never gives a motive or BIG hints that puzzle the whole thing.

But apart from that, the story is very entertaining. Although it takes its time, it manages to keep you attentive.

There are many things that seem off and a bit useless for the story, but I didn't dislike the book. On the contrary, I liked it and that's why I think I could do sooooo much better.

A 3 1/2 star book that I rounded up. Kept me guessing and while the reveal was a little unbelievable, it was believable enough to not ruin the story for me.
