This bridge between the two main books in the series is a critical read! Through flashbacks of some unseen time in Sheol and dealing with PTSD and new fears, this book shows Paige’s human-ness and how healing can be a slow and painful process.

Warden has always been my one complaint in this series as I never understood his character in terms of the romantic interest, but this story really made me like him a lot more!

Don’t skip this short story!!
