This was quite an interesting read! I enjoyed the contrast of the passages from the bloggers speaking the truth, versus the Bleed government putting blame on the opposition party, resulting in unwarranted deaths, arrests, and exiles. I like we got a peek at the humanity behind Mustafa and Vadim, the seemingly cold, calculated dictator and his frivolous successor. Finally, the last chapter was really something, and I found Vadim's commentary, that no single person or leader can stand between a person and the life they desire very thought-provoking indeed. Normally, I don't read books that would be considered "political thrillers", but one of my professors happened to be the author, so I wanted to support his work! I am glad I read this though; it was a thought-provoking read with some twists I was not expecting!

This was really well written and on paper interesting but this just didn't vibe with me.
