A very well written but disturbing piece of work.
An interesting read that I don't think I will ever read again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Welsh is an absolute genius. This is my third time reading Filth and each time I find myself fascinated by the psychology of the main character who Welsh has masterfully crafted. This novel may not be for everyone- it's rude, disgusting, hard to read at times, contains all the trigger warnings, but if you feel up to it I couldn't recommend it enough. An all time favourite.

I found this book sort of hard to get through, the same way I found the movie hard to get through. Neither was explicitly bad though. Just hard.
