The title of this should have been "How everyone is connected to Hitler".
Did you know that World War Two was bad? Clive James thinks so. And he'll take any opportunity to tell you about it, using long, run-on sentences, the type I'm sure he thinks are adding nuance, but in the end, are clichéd or devoid of meaning. It's totally frustrating. It's also assumed that you're interested in the obscure (usually literary) personality each essay is about.
The only reason I finished this book was so that I could review it here.
