Yes, the timeline was a little obviously off, but at least the author pre-warned is in the forward. I think this might be my 2nd favorite in the series. It had great action, a psychotic but dynamic villain, and two likable protagonists. Jill is still pretty f'ing kickass, and Carlos was a welcome new character. He was clever with a good personality. Nicholai was one f'ed up psychopath, I loved him. He was well written, easy to loathe, but yet you found what made him tick. He was just a great bad guy. His ending was simply fantastic.

Okay all am gonna say is I honestly don't know how they managed to escape nemesis but I know for sure wouldn't be able to escape from it and probs wouldn't survive the whole raccoon outcome either.
OK this book was nerve racking and a do mean it this time, alot going on, lots of deaths, very different ending to the game but in all fairness loved it.
Really didn't like nikolai at all found him as a coward due to what he did throughout the book, just glad he got what was coming to him.
I do hope to see Carlos and Jill in the next 2 books as that is all I have elft to read but won't know until a read them.
Now onto resident evil code Veronica, let's see what awaits me.

Super fast-paced, not as engaging as the best in the series and the antagonists were a bit bland but a fun, quick read nonetheless.
