Great book, pacing, and easy to connect to characters

3,5 stars because I quite liked it in the end! Special but a little too slow at first and seeing how the girlfriend's perspective was the most interesting part by far there really was an unproportional amount of pages spent on the inner sufferings of this man

To say I was annoyed for the first 2/3 of this book is an understatement. The main character annoyed me and his antics as a heart-broken man were insufferable. And then the last third of the book hits you like a ton of brinks because, yes, this is exactly what a breakup is like. An expose on The Madness of break-ups, the beauty of loving someone who isn't right for you, and the definition of two sides to a story. A much needed book for me, would recommend and would pre-face by telling people to push through the beginning.
