Quick little look at the author's year spent living in Switzerland for work. It's told largely as a series of anecdotes about what Meredith did with her many visitors, with a through-thread of attempting to get a suitable set of photos to sell to a photo service. I'm not sure how much of a sense I got about actually living in Zurich, or what life is life for the Swiss relative to other places, but it does give some handy travel ideas (conveniently, I'll be in Zurich next month! ...less conveniently, I will not be on my own schedule, so it's probably irrelevant). I will be keeping this, though:
One of my favourite expressions in German was "Es ist mir alles Wurst" which means "I couldn't care less", but translates literally as "It's all sausages to me." (34)
