Not nearly as good as the first one, unfortunately. It was still entertaining but quite slow. No language, no spice.

Just as fun as the first book. It was well told and the characters real. I trust this author, and look forward to reading the next in the series.

First off, I absolutely love Regency England. So, when I saw that this book takes place in Regency England I was immediately attracted to it. And it didn’t disappoint. I loved this book. I fell in love with the characters. I was immediately drawn into the story and struggled to put the book down. This book had me laughing out loud in a number of places. I want to read the first book in this series and look forward to any future books in the this series.

Content: Clean, brief mentions of violence and a couple almost swears.

Very cute, light romance. I found Adam a bit over the top at times (the fact that he didn't have to bow to the royalty struck me as very odd). I didn't realize this was the second in a series until after I started reading it, and I would like to find the first book and read that as well. Eden has a very easy-to-read writing style and I definitely enjoyed the book quite a bit. It didn't have the most rounded of characters, but I found Athena and Harry very nice main characters.

Thoroughly enjoyable, despite the horrendous cover (which meant this book is one of my 'record holders for longest time languishing on my kindle', as I think I downloaded it 8 - 10ish years ago - it has night feeds of my second child to thank for pulling it out of that hole). Fun characters - I would definitely read more of this series - and a sweet romance.

This book is hilarious and tender. It is regency romance at its finest. Sarah M. Eden is a master at witty dialogue.

It is a delight to have more scenes with the formidable (and humorously cranky) Duke of Kielder and his best friend, Harry. Their interactions are solid literary gold.

I liked this one better than the first! I thought the plot was more intriguing and thought the love interests had a little bit more chemistry.
