My rating is highly influenced by my choice to read this book in hundred-page chunks spread across many days as opposed to reading a few chapters here or there. I think if I had picked the latter method I would have enjoyed it more. I think my reading method just suited fiction better than the question-answer format that this book is in. The answers were humorous and enjoyable, but best in small doses. If another volume comes out I think I'd pick it up and this is likely to be reread.

Whenever you think he’s done answering a question, he keeps going until you get to the world ending. Now I have a very comprehensive list of things Not to do, for fear of ending the world. 5 stars.

I am long behind on xkcd strips, but these felt like getting back into them, with a bit more interactivity because of questions (and Randall's willingness to answer them, see the weird & worrying sections).
