This book went by slowly and quickly all at the same time, and I just enjoyed it so much. The first 89 pages were a lot of world-building and background, but as soon as it hit page 90, boy, did we take off :) I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait to see more of Immanuelle’s story!

I love horror.
I love witches.
And I especially love stories about witches in puritanical societies.
But I did not love this book. I think I was expecting it to delve more deeply into witchcraft, covens, and the occult. But it's pretty surface level when it comes to that. There are many other elements that the author focuses on instead. With that being said it was still worth the read and well written, just not what I was hoping for.
