This was a good book, but I feel like it could have been a lot shorter. It felt incredibly repetitive in some parts.

This book tries to change your mindset about marketing, like many of Seth Godin's books. The book covers material about positioning, brand identity, and marketing. In short, the argument is that any business has to declare its niche, create a unique experience, and be consistent with its identity.

No surprise here, Seth Godin always delivers the goods :) Go read it. Go read basically any Seth Godin book. The end :)

This was an interesting read. I wouldn't say I necessarily learned any new, applicable tactics from it, but it was fascinating from a marketing and consumer perspective.

I like the topic of this book, but I don't think I was really the right reader. Many of the pages were spent convincing me that marketing should be done through storytelling. But I didn't need convincing, I picked up the book because I already believed that and wanted to learn more. So the focus was a bit off and I felt I didn't learn that much.

But there were some good takeaways for me - to tap into an existing worldview, and to not just tell the story but to live it through and through.
