Hmmm, not sure how I feel about this one. I like the premise of a ghost from the 1930s and today's technology. I didn't like that the police just gave up so easily and took the guys' word. Wasn't clear, was Rey a cop? Why would her mother not believe her about Rey? So many unbelievable points. Wait...there is no scequel to this story?! It ends like that?! I thought there would be more coming inbthe next book that explains things. This sux!

That’s it??

The story was great up until the end. I enjoyed the ebb and flow of Grace and Rodrick with the tension and unknown threat from Rey. But now I feel as if I have more questions than answers. I feel as if Rey isn’t done- he’s just getting started at getting her back. That “main event” didn’t seem to match the level that Rey is portrayed to be on. Also what happens to Grace and Rodrick now??? This definitely needs to be at least a duet.

Although this book is well written, throughout the whole book it almost felt like the romantic side of this book was a little forced. This is not because the author was trying to make you only focus on the romantic aspects of the story, but rather because this story did not require a romantic aspect in order to be good. I understand however why it was written this was and the will-they-won't-they of the book was a big part in the plot.

That being said the female character also has a big story line that follows her escape from previously abusive relationship and shows how those relationships can effect a person even a couple of years down the line. It was definitely a story about two people overcoming trauma together and building a house for themselves despite their differences and backgrounds.
