Eh. This was a quick, insubstantial little read. Not bad but like I said .. insubstantial. The main character, Sakaria, is cursed by a guy she spurns to turn into a cat until she someone falls in love and knows the "true" her. There is a time limit. If she doesn't find someone by Halloween, he curse will be permanent. The reasons for the curse and the spurned ex-lover are played for comedy but the book itself doesn't feel very comic.
Sakaria learns how to control her shifting from cat to human and back and some of the descriptions of her forays as a cat were interesting. But overall I was rather puzzled by her lack of urgency to break to curse. She seemed to just roll with it for awhile.
Of course this is a romance so she eventually does hookup with the hero who's reaction upon eventually learning that his lady love is also the stray cat he found was a bit underwhelming.
