It was a fun story to listen to, the set of characters is wonderfully eccentric

I'm not really sure what to think of this book, let alone how to rate it.

Things I liked about this book:
• It's different. I don't think I've ever read a book that comes even close to the atmosphere this book creates.
• Its unique way to create an uncomfortable horror-esque quality.
• The relationship between the sisters. It was just adorable!

I really enjoyed this book, an interesting gothic novel, Shirley Jackson at her best, a creepy book that weasels its way in and you can’t stop thinking about it, but without the typical gore of a horror book. Would recommend to anyone who likes a book with unanswered questions
