I am openly a sucker for bonus content for signing up for author newsletters, so when I found that this fun little comic con centered story was available for subscribing to @sagdern newsletter, it was an immediate yes. I really loved Anna and Jacob from the history of us, so getting a chance to breathe their air again one more time was absolutely delightful.

I love any time we can see just Jewish joy and action, and this sweet little in between really hit that. I just love nerdy Jews, talking about comic shit, and this, just scratch that itch beautifully. I think more than anything. This is my plea for Stacey to think about a future series that takes place at comicon please! It’s clear she knows the rhythms of the Kahn space, I would just love to see her brand of joyful Jews absolutely wreck havoc on San Diego comicon or something like that.
