A super cute counting book, my little kindergartners loved it! All the cupcakes have a unique, delicious design, and the kids have so much fun trying to solve the mystery.

Even though me and my daughter love cupcakes, this book didn't do much for us. There wasn't much I can say about this book and that's a shame. Pete the Cat is not always a priority in books for my daughter, but she still finds she enjoys a good chunk of them. This was really not one of them. One book we probably won't be reading again.

Pretty messed up that Pete the Cat and Gus have names and everybody else is identified by species.
Also messed up that this book is vaguely rhyme-like without following any actual structure, I felt like I was losing it.
