Filled with laugh-out-loud stories and advice, Sarah delivers another funny and relatable series of essays and life lessons in this gem of a book. I have a hard copy but I was in the WORST mood last night and had a toddler that just didn’t want to sleep. So I decided to pick it up on KU so I could read during the sleep strike. I’m so glad I did because it did wonders for my mood. I’m not one for highlighting passages but I really went a bit crazy on the quotes. Like I said, relatable!

Included wisdom ranges from how to be a great host and a great party guest, her insane urge to be helpful (I have that too and it’s the worst) along with a host of other funny tidbits.

Pick up a copy and read it and then come talk with me about how spot on all of it is. I’m slowing down on all my reading because I fully intend Small Potatoes: leftover beef from a lovable curmudgeon to be my final read for 2019 and the decade.

Bravo, Sarah! I am looking forward to the next one!
