This book took me a few tries to get into it. I would start it, then lose interest, then try again and again. Finally, I decided to just listen one more time and see how I go for the last time. If I couldn't stay enthralled, I'd pass and call it "not for me," but like most Melanie Harlow books, I should never have doubted I would enjoy it. I would say this is the type of story you may need to be in the mood for, and once you are in the mood for it, you will thoroughly enjoy it.

Oh my god what a basic story and one dimensional characters. Just… really bad writing, very boring.

Not against insta love especially when it seems they’ve been together for a month but it’s only been like 3 days. Discovered I’m not really into role playing lol not that it was bad just personal wasn’t into it. Was a fun read just that the fact the conflict could’ve been easily resolved by saying “yes, me too.” made me grumpy and the role playing was like every sex scene.

We follow Blair and Griffin in this cute small town romance. When Blair’s crashes into town wearing a wedding dress her car needing fixing Griffin begrudgingly lets her stay and work with him until her car is fixed and she can pay off the cost. This book was very cute and the tension between the MCs was top notch. It did feel a little rushed considering the whole initial falling in love portion of the book took around 2 weeks which made the feelings a little less believable but I loved the characters. The small town was exactly what I wanted with everyone knowing each others business to meddling mothers to cute surrogate grandpa figure to old man baseball. I wanted to stay in this cute town with our characters and get to know all of them.
