You really truly can’t go wrong with anything written by Andrew Barrett. I love his Eddie Collins series and now I have been introduced to an earlier series on Roger Conniston.
This collection includes three great books and will keep you sucked in through all 1200+ pages. Roger and Yvonne don’t have the best of relationships but he still can’t let her die. In A Long Time Dead Roger is being set up and has to find a killer before he loses everything. The story continues in Stealing Edgar, he has to stop Hades, prove his boss is dirty and find his wife, who’s been kidnapped. Finally, No More Tears, where emotions run high and we get a very dramatic conclusion to the series.
Andrew Barrett is a great writer who makes you love and hate his characters because none of them are perfect. He shows you true human nature. I highly recommend this series. Thank you to the author for a review copy of this book.
