I found this book by accident in my local library knowing nothing about it or the author. I really enjoyed this tale of a number of families in India. It was both sad and uplifting as it describes the tribulations and tensions between parents who fled Sind at partition to make a home in what is know India and their children who are growing up in a modern world. A really good well written book.
