I liked some of the stories. Wasn't a fan of the orange coloring but I guess it was cheaper to print that way.

Favorite characters from many graphic novel series show up for this volume of mini-comic stories. Each story contains a recess/school theme. Sure to be a hit with young readers!

I’m really enjoying these new vignettes from my favorite graphic novelists. And I’m interested in the Lunchlady series. My favorites were Yang’s, the Lunchlady, and Telgemeier’s. Looking forward to the Detention one if we get it in the library.

Super cute collection of short bits by the monsters in the kids GN world. Especially notable for the myriad [a: Raina Telgemeier|21618|Raina Telgemeier|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1200153437p2/21618.jpg] and [b: Babymouse|476914|Camp Babymouse (Babymouse, #6)|Jennifer L. Holm|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1320410209s/476914.jpg|2195951] completists. Telgemeier's selection is about a D&D game, so that's cool. And this is the first time I've actually read a Babymouse story myself (I know, I know). It's great as a sampler, especially if you're trying to broaden your JGN knowledge very quickly.

Honestly, the standout for me was from [a: Dan Santat|1251403|Dan Santat|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1380608941p2/1251403.jpg], particularly because people just announced that he's coming out with a memoir about his childhood. I am just a ::little:: bit excited about that.

A fun anthology of well-loved graphic novelists for middle grade readers. And Lunch Lady assured us at the end of the book that there would be a #2.

Collection of stories from some big names in juvenile graphic novels. Kids who read widely in this category will certainly recognize some of their favorites.

Graphic novel "short story" collection by some of the best! My personal favorite: The Rainy Day Monitor
