In my search to find a poetry book where I actually like all the poems, this book comes the closest. Hurt uses a whole slew of techniques that add a sense of whimsy to her poems, like wandering between rows of a strawberry field. Incredible wordplay and imagery, bringing to life even a story about an unshaved dog and a dug-up fern. (Although, the final abecedarian was a bit much, in my opinion.)
