I enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed this series from the beginning. While I think the first 2 volumes are better than this, I think this volume had some great stuff in it. I particularly liked the introduction of the Outsiders. The story itself was slightly weaker than the first 2 but was still pretty cool to me.

Loved the first two volumes, but this was unfortunately the worst of the three. It sets up cool ideas but just can't deliver on anything.

It seems clear that the movie 'The Batman' is highly influenced by this Batman universe (Andy Serkis mentioned he based his character on Alfred). The art is incredibly good, there are some really unique panel designs and I loved some of the character designs like Catwoman. The hardcover edition looks great.

The ending just feels very forced and cliche. While the first two volumes gave new life to classic characters, this story basically just shoehorns most of them back into traditional roles or barely develops them much at all (Alfred, Killer Croc). They introduce an entire Bat family in 2 pages, for no discernible reason.

Many of the plot twists made me roll my eyes because they were so obvious. Maybe a younger audience will enjoy it, but I found very little in this fresh or interesting. Having just read the excellent 'The Three Jokers', this story felt almost like 'The Brave and the Bold' territory in comparison (Batdog... seriously), or just like a sillier version of the most recent movie and previous Batman story lines. What audience are they writing for?

2.5 stars. Story was not as strong as the first two. Also just a terrible Catwoman costume.

This was another good comic I love reading the Earth one it showed you the origins of Batman even though it wasn't in the world what we know for him if that makes sense we also are introduced to two face in the last book Jessie's brother dies well we think he had but somehow Jessie has absorbed his soul or something like that I'm not too sure but that made the character too faced so we go through this one 1training to find out who are giving all the guns and weapons to the people to find out it's only Jessie's brother who is supposedly dead but like I said somehow she's absorbed his soul and now their body is 2 people in there it was a really good book
