I really enjoyed this book, because of the different types of characters. Some were lovable, some were annoying, and others helped the plot drive forward. The plot twist was well deserved and really made the mystery come alive. The multiple character perspectives was also easy to follow.

An Elizabethan mystery, featuring a woman detective. While I find that aspect of it a bit dubious at times, it’s a fun read, and one of my favorite periods of history. [Sept. 2011]
