very interesting story about detectives in NYC trying to find a missing man after they find the skull of the man he disappeared with. For a little while I thought I knew who the killer was but I was completely wrong. There were two things I did not like about the end of the story but I dont want to give out any spoilers. Overall it was a good book. I found it interesting that it was written from the point of view of the female detective when the author is a male.

I purchased this for my kindle via amazon, began reading it immediately and couldn't put the kindle down. It has just about everything - interesting lead characters written in a believable manner. There's stacks of well placed humour, even though it is a detective thriller with murders, bodies etc. Lots of twists and turns. As you read the book you want to know what happens next - you never feel ready to put it down. I am now going to seek out the authors other works as I have just found out there's more like this!!
