3.5 good read- prefer office romance but like the twist to this story

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were great! The plot line was good with no deviations or going off on non-necessary side tracks. The twist about 300 pages in, I did not see coming and gave audible "What the F***?!" commentary. Though it's a 400-plus page book it goes by so quickly.
I loved the humor in this story. The author's reference to the Stacey's Mom song had be laughing. I loved the Hide and seek with underwear game funny.
The one thing I did not care for was the twist and the emotional drama that came with it that just hit hard. I wasn't expecting it and it was gut-wrenching. However, I understand it was needed for the story. It was one of those books where I may not have liked how things came about but understood it was needed in a way to not lose any star rating.
I highly recommend this book! (Check trigger warnings for cancer, death and grief.)

Knihy obou autorek mám skutečně ráda, vím, že když hledám lehké a oddechové čtení, nikdy nesáhnu vedle. Tato kniha, ale měla ještě něco navíc...
A tím byl moc krásný příběh, který i když zabíhal do vážnějších témat, jako je nemoc a smrt, stále si zachoval svoji lehkost a vyprávěný příběh tím nijak netratil. Takže těm, kteří mají rádi příběhy, které zahrají na city a zároveň nehledají hluboká moudra, spíše si chtějí u čtení i odpočinout, mohu knihu jen doporučit.

Well, it's kinda wholesome but i think i am a bitter bitch bc i wouldn't be happy with the fact that brianna would probably always shadowing their relationship

Wow, there definitely was a twist in this story.. sad too. Trying to catch up with cocky hero club stories.
This story had some funny stuff.. definitely when the ‘goat’ makes an appearance. The ending made me happy.

Beware of a man with a goat and a scene stealing bird!

Park Avenue Player is all around fun. Cameos from friends and animals worth knowing...or at least their owners are. There's a spot of fun for everyone. (Pardon my rhymes, a certain horny player got me in the mood!)

Hollis and Elodie are quite the team. Their issues are not insurmountable but avoidance seems to be the current method of dealing.

I loved the realization that Hollis went through learning to let go. I had a lightbulb moment at a stop sign while listening to this book. I pulled over did a one word search and then cursed up a storm because I may have been late to the party but I still got there before Hollis and Elodie.

Heartache and love are both intense. You get both in this book as well as a side of whhhhaaaaaa!?!?!

Enjoy your innocence. Ignore the arrogance. Embrace the eloquence. And whatever you do love the player...even if you hate the game! No wait, that's not the saying! Lol. Player, play on. Nope, that one either. How about...
Love is a many splendored thing.
