غیر از روند اصلی داستان، توصیف پیشرفت زوال عقل برای آدمی که سعی کرده همه چیز در کنترلش باشه واقعا عجیب و دردناک بود.

The Diary of a Murderer is the main story in this collection and is a dark, mysteriously engaging story that will keep you rooted to the pages. The rest of the stories in the collection may not come as close as the Diary of a Murderer but they are still as twisted and will leave your jaw open for every flip of the page.

The first short story was amazing, but the other ones were just ok. I'd recommend it for the first story alone though.

This rating is mainly for the first story in the collection, Diary of a Murderer. I felt it was the strongest of the four.

While the others were not bad (especially Missing Child), it took me ages to pick the book back up and finish it after having read the first story. The Origin of Life did not immediately draw me in.
