I cried like I cry when I'm going through my lowest point in life. This was amazing, I'm speechless. Even though I'm not really fan of first pov, that doesn't stop me from thinking that, as far, this is my favorite book.
(spoiler?)
Though I'm still a bit bitter that Harper didn't tell Chloe about her "curse", but that's on me and my problem of wanting everyone to know everything

It was a nice book, a really easy read. I breezed through it because the writing style was so simple and light, and also because I just genuinely enjoyed it. It didn't change my life or make me have a super eye-opening revelation and that's okay! It was a lovely book and it made me happy to read, and what more could I have asked for, really?

another addition to gay people feeling like their significant others are missing parts of them/wanting to merge with them because just being with them is never close enough. real!!!!!
“but sometimes it’s like… if I could just, like, press up super close to you and just kind of merge and be this hybrid person I still don’t think I’d be as close as I wanna be.”
like you’re crazy & i love it!!!!!

Left me wondering whether it would feel like a curse or a blessing to be able to know when people will die, and I have yet to decide. Maybe that's the point of the book, to let you ponder away how different you would treat others if you knew their end was near.

The storyline kept me interested. I was very curious to how it would all end and was pleased with the outcome.

Ugh this book had me in my feels!! I don’t even have the proper words to explain how I really feel about this book. I love Harper, I just wanted to hug that sweet baby angel! I love that she had Robbie so she wasn’t quite alone with her ability. I love that she did her best to give Chloe an incredible summer despite it breaking her heart.

This was a very cute read. I loved how Harper and Chloe are so very different from each other yet they find those differences make who they are and they simply love each other. There’s this quote I really liked from the book that explains who they are to each other in a way:
”Chloe started a new era where I could see more than just a few different shades.”
The concept of this book combined with romance was interesting to the say the least and
I hate her epilogues though. They’re so short and filled with nothing especially after a chapter that is full of emotion, etc. They could be so much better to where I feel like I got something that helps my curiosity or whatever.

I love the technicality at the end ;)I hate her epilogues though. They’re so short and filled with nothing especially after a chapter that is full of emotion, etc. They could be so much better to where I feel like I got something that helps my curiosity or whatever.
