I actually read volume 1 last year, I like many others recieved my Kickstarter perks just this week and today I finished volume 2. I don't think it's on storygraph yet but I'm using this to track it.
I am so in love with Saint, Patrick, Armand and the crew. This is the best found family time traveling webcomic I've read.
Also the fact that Saint can now finally travel if he wants and he chooses the stay home and write!? He's so real for that. I do hope to see a time traveling Saint for once, he's been in stasis for so long! I'd love to see him on a solo adventure or maybe a date night for Armand & Santo?? That would really complete my life.
The art is of course absolutely gorgeous, the panels are always so fun and full of energy and interesting little details. I love analyzing and doing panel redraws of Ru's work, there's just so much that goes into each page. I wish more people knew about this comic, it's such a gem.

Time travel? Action? Intrigue? Cats? If you like any of these I'd check out Saint for Rent. Saint runs an inn for Time Travelers, the junction for the crisscrossing lives of his out-of-date friends and family. Saint wonders how he fits into the world of time travel where the world seems to pass him by.

In volume one we meet a great cast of characters and I've taken a liking to Armand who's multilingual dialogue makes me smile.

In general, webcomics are a double edged sword for me. One the one hand I get to enjoy wonderful stories and art by creators all over the world, but for as much as the internet is permanent, some things go missing. Which is why I always get hard copies when I can.

An interesting story with time travelers, time travel inns, innkeepers, and more. This first volume is busy; a lot happens and it can be confusing as things start piecing together. I like what I've read so far and am interested to see what happens in volume two!

Ru Xu's self-publish of her webcomic is beautifully done and well worth the Kickstart. The story is dynamically translated from moving GIFs to static page, in beautifully saturated color. You eye follows action, story, and narrative easily across the panels, and the story's good, to boot!

I only wish there was more of the tale that I could hold in my hands right now, as these three chapters build a compelling introduction. I want to know more about all of the characters and understand the web of mystery Xu's time-bending, rules-lawyering tale presents.
