Eve and Mark become immigrants to the planet Talescria. There they have to raise their baby daughter while trying to get accustomed to the alien way of life. Interesting change in pace with Battle Beast’s and Thragg’s battle interspersing to create contrast.

Light- hearted and funny this is midway an 80's welfare state propaganda, Family Values slogan and make it all about aliens. I am biased by all the men issues so Mark discussing with Eve his blockade was a top garnish, sadly it was promptly interrupted by the <>.

Invincible is consistently compelling throughout the series so far, and my only complaint is that I know I'm nearing the end.

Very uneventful , the only big deal was us seeing Mark be a daddy which was nice , and Mark talking about what Alissa did to him . Compared to the prior book events this felt like being cheated out of your cash for a book that didn't really progress the plot .

The Robot and Anissa arcs are tough to follow up on but this did as good of a job as it could.
Mark and Eve moving off planet was forgotten and I forgot how much Oliver changed on his return! The inter-family stuff was really fun and heartwarming for me and a needed palette cleanser after the bleak previous volume.
I hate Immortal so much, though. I’ve never been into his character, but more and more I actually side with Omni-Man ripping him in half.
The Thragg and Battle Beast battle was really awesome. R.I.P. Battle Beast.
It really is weird taking stock and looking back on where this series started and seeing how much these characters have changed and grown.
