I was disappointed in the end. The whole book was full of stupid actions by various characters. And the ending was rather unsatisfying. I suppose it deserves 2.5 to 3 stars simply for being well written.

I couldn't force myself to continue with this book because it was so, so unenjoyable.
Within the first forty pages she:
- Insulted a girls wedding dress
- Said the girls fiancé was good enough "for HER" because his great-grandmother was a king's second favorite whore
- Started a rumor about the girl so she tried to commit suicide
- Left someone bleeding on the side of the road
- Said she doesn't dance with foreigners
She's a mean snob because she's a duke's daughter. Before I was like, "wow I can't believe her parents would enlist someone to seduce Katherine and break her heart"... now I'm like - DO IT and make her cry and ruin her life!
