At the beginning of this book you get a warning that there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll like it. I cackled reading that and knew I was going to have a good time.

I throughly enjoyed this book. It was a quick read, the plot was thin but that’s also in the warning at the beginning. Sometimes all you need is a quick spicy book to get you through the day and that was this book.

I am excited for the next books this series. I can’t wait to explore this world.

——— SPOILERS BELOW ———

This book is slit into two parts, one when they’re younger and haven’t met and two where they’re together. Part one is called “The Letters” and I legit thought it was going to be sixty-odd pages of just the letters they wrote to each other. It wasn’t but somehow I was shocked that it wasn’t.

Part one was a great set up for the book. I loved seeing them grow and mature. It’s rare in spicy books to see the main characters when they’re young so it was nice to see how they grew into their own.

Part two starts off with a bang with Rennick and Amelia meeting and I felt the embarrassment of that meeting the moment I realize what was about to happen. I was nervous laughing for a few pages when Amelia realized who Rennick was.

I don’t expect to get emotional in spicy books but when Amelia and Rennick had their big fight I felt my emotions welling up. Amelia’s big emotions were so much that I felt them. I loved the honestly they had in that moment.

I need to say nothing more than Ora was the worst and deserved what she got.
