Pretty good book

Madeline is a 32 year old spinster that inherited a bank from her father. Some of the townspeople despise her because of her position and fortune. Hearing that a horse thief is about to be hung, she saves him for her own desires. She hires him to teach her about what goes on between a man and woman. Unbeknownst to Maddy, Teague has been hired by villains to find anything they can use against her in order to have her hanged.
The book was pretty good, until the end. I didn't care for the end because everything was rushed in order to wrap it up. Most of the book consisted of sex between Maddy and Teague. There are some inconsistencies in the story regarding Teague. In the beginning he talked about how all of his money went to booze and whores. But later he said he had only only broken his vow to to be with another woman, other than his dead wife, three times. And he seems to know an awful lot about unconventional sex. Just doesn't quite make sense.

I am looking forward to readinwv more in the series.
