Long! I loved it!! The Malec family made my eyes water a bit, I love them so much. Love seeing how far they've come, how much more open Alec is, seeing him have his happiness... My heart is full!!!

I wasn't sold on this at first, but by the end I’m obsessed. I can't wait to read Red Scrolls of Magic now because I NEEEED more of Magnus and Alec, AKA some of the best Shadowhunter Chronicles characters!

Love this short story so much. Definitely isn’t a stand alone but always warms my heart.

While short, this was an incredibly moving and powerful novella written by Clare. Narrated from Alec’s perspective (our lovely, favorite parabatai) this story skillfully weaves in a multitude plotlines spanning the course of numerous generations. It was a gut-wrenching tale commenting on a myriad of conversations circulating our society today, from what it means to be family to our social responsibilities as citizens of this planet.

The best of the Ghosts of the Shadowhunter Market novellas yet. Such poignant love between Alec and Magnus and Jem and Tessa. I love the family moments between Alec and Magnus and the kids. I love learning how Rafe came into the family. The plot was good, Juaqiun was hilarious with Juliette, and I loved the many found families. This whole story was peppered with humor. This novella was truly everything one looks for in good storytelling.
