I think the problem that I had with this book is that I have read so many reviews and lists that rate it as one of the scariest novels of all time, that there was no way it could match that level of expectation. However, it is a cracking horror novel that cranks up the tension right the way through. Not for everyone, but if you like a good scare then it's a must

One of the best love stories ever written! Period

It makes me laugh on second, fight tears the next, bight my nails throughout, and say a prayer at the end of each reading session.

It's quite literally one of the best stories ever written. The audio book, narrated by Blatty is a masterclass.

Before judging this book because of the film adaptation (which Blatty wrote) google his thoughts on this book. It's the perfect horror, sure, but it's a message of hope!

It. Is. A. MUST. Read! A MUST!!!
