gave me a peek into the author's experience, as a hijabi in the US. She shares all these challenges she faces and her own quest for finding her identity using humour and sarcasm, which was a lot of fun. The various questions she asks herself, and her finding herself was refreshing. I wasn't too happy about the art style itself and felt like the story fell a little flat midway tho

I know I read these out of order. But I really enjoyed this one about Huda and how she tries to figure herself out in high school. I love Huda’s “shoulder Huda” and her snarky, sarcastic sense of humor. She makes me laugh but the best part is she realizes when she needs to grow. I also loved how this one calls out microaggressions and racism. I love how the teacher called out in the end, even after Huda was afraid to confront her fully.
