A fun, fast paced read. Great action and a really intriguing storyline about the Library of Alexandria. I was glad to see the return of so many characters from the first novel, and expect to see more of them in the rest of the series. This story sucked me in, and kept me reading up to the end.

This was an enjoyable outing in the Malone series. As expected, there were many different threads seeming to head in different directions, only to tie firmly together in the end. There's a bit of a deus ex machina with Heinrich, which wasn't as strong as I hoped - relevant, but not strong. Looking forward to the next installment.

I enjoyed listening to the first Cotton Malone book, The Templar Legacy, and anticipated another good "listen" in the 2nd of the series. However, this book is read by Scott Brick who varies the volume of his voice from shouting to whispering, which makes for a miserable listening experience for me. Did not finish.

Very easy to read. Multiple story lines coming together (and from different points of view). Fun Fiction.

Yup, still a terrible series. Only redeeming factor is that I need something for long bike rides where it doesn't matter at all if I miss parts.

Clearly I'm a sucker for anything involving libraries and books. Not quite as engaging as the previous book, but this feels like it's going to be a middle-of-the-road or guilty pleasure kind of series (which I'm fine with, as long as I remember not to take anything too seriously). A few issues with some of the characters but overall decently enjoyable.

Intriguing plot. A lot of back and forth and double crossing.

I am in love with Steve Berry's Cotton Malone. I loved this one because of the Alexandria angle (sure-fire book lover/reader suck-me-in bit!). I will undoubtedly re-read this.

All-in-all: Entertaining read that made me want to read up on the Alexandria Library
