The author has a very good writing and narration style. The plot is well-thought out and the twists are well-placed. The ending was well-written and provided all the necessary information to wrap up the story. I also noticed that it was short and ended quickly.
Moderate: Kidnapping, Gun violence, and Violence

A perfectly thrilling thriller with plenty of thrills. It’s treason and betrayal and secret political rivalries and societies who run the world - in secret of course.
Feels like the History Nerd Version of The Da Vinci Code, with TDVC being the Art History Nerd Adventure. No shade - I chose it for this reason.
The quarter star deduction comes from the choppiness of the writing between character povs. It’s not quite confusing but it could definitely be better.
Fab notes at the back explaining the research that went in to it.
