I honestly found this painful to get through, it just dragged on!
I actually liked some of the things the book was trying to say, but I didn’t enjoy the way it was done - personally I think it should have been a lot more subtle.
And I think Nick’s character took a big step back in this book. In the two first books he was one of the only normal/rational/down to earth people, but his obsession withkeeping the house, while I understand it was sentimental, and it was described as this heroic act? To me it just showed that he can be just as bad as everyone else… It is completely NORMAL to sell a house after someone dies if you don’t have the means to keep it!
Anyways I actually really liked the epilogue, I think it was a nice ending with a good outcome for everyone:)
