When billionaire Cooper who tends to stay in his own safe zones, meets Moral his life is never the same. Besides having money, Cooper also uses his gifted brain to help get Moral back standing after a plane crash not only takes is limb but also ends his hockey career. But with the bad comes some good when the two find love, compassion and a sense of stability together rather than apart. Can you really go anywhere but up when your life is crashing down? RJ Scott does it again by bringing wonderfully written characters, an emotional storyline that hooks the readers from the opening pages and creating an inner hope that truly cannot be extinguished. Loved this book!!

Didn't quite hit the mark for me.

More of a 3.5, seems harsh but compared to the previous books this didn't meet my expectations. I enjoyed the story but it just didn't have enough chemistry in it for me. The sex should have been hotter but it was meh. The story was scientific and clever and I wanted to love it but it just ran its course and I didn't miss it when I finished it.

I love Cooper! He's got so much going on in his brain and so much latent love to share in that socially awkward way that people on the spectrum can have. This was a welcome relief after the last two books but as a disabled person I felt like the disability aspect could have been handled a lot better. There are definite struggles with adapting to acquired disability but the whole “it’s all about a positive attitude” is super toxic and ignores the social model of disability.

Loved this latest entry

This was just what the doctor ordered, a no dramady, sweet romance between two two lovely people who were perfectly suited.

As ever with these two authors, there's a wonderfully warm feel to the narrative as two very different men who've dealt with serious blows in life fall in love.

I enjoyed Cooper, his sense of humor, his inquisitiveness, and desire to make things better for Moral.
