Wow, this volume had a lot of drama.

I can imagine Yamato might be a bit pissed off at Mei for what she did. On the other hand... isn't it good that she is also opening up to other people? And sure it is about a topic like that, but hey, be happy she is talking to others. I know the feeling Mei has. She is embarrassed to talk about such a thing with her boyfriend so she finds someone else to talk about it. And in the end, I think she might start talking to Yamato about it. She just needs to practise on someone else.

The other thing that happened is that a rival appeared! I am actually kind of worried about Yamato and Mei, especially considering how Yamato reacted to Mei and the rival chatting. I must say though that I really like the rival and I am interested to see what will happen between everyone. Will Yamato and Mei stay together? Or will the rival push between them and break them up?
While Yamato and Mei are a cute couple, at times I am annoyed with them both. Mei, for thinking thoughts that aren't that good and Yamato with how he acts with Mei (at times pushy, at times being angry with her without even asking/talking to her).

The art is still gorgeous and I really enjoy seeing the characters and the background.

All in all the series is really picking up speed and I can't wait to see what will happen in the next volume!

Megumi sucks. She's just being a bitch at this point for no real reason. I can't fathom why she wouldn't just give up on a guy that clearly rejected her. I know it's hard to not like someone anymore, but that doesn't make what she's doing to Mei okay. She's is literally the worst, at least she's adding some spice to the story though lolol.

I really appreciate having the main female character be an introvert, especially in a manga as I have rarely seen that. It just adds another layer of relatability to Mei, not just for me, but for other readers as well.

At this point, I don’t really have much to say about this series.

I think it’s super good, sweet and thoughtful, and mature shojo.

I love it.

The development with Kai is really good; I like his friendship with Yamato, even if it’s complicated, and with Mei, even if I’m not a fan of romance between them. Megumi is causing more and more drama for Mei and Yamato, and Yamato is being dumb about it. There is clearly more drama to come between these four. I look forward to it resolving, and am interested to see what comes after it. But even through it all, everyone is growing and learning, and that’s important.

Overall, I just really like this series. Everything about it. And it is always at the top of my list to pick up.

How can you be in a relationship and just ignore each other like this? If it's a first fight it might be understandable, but come on they've been together for almost a year now. Their relationship is so frustrating. Just talk to each other! Also Mei is just a meek girl at this point and how they both handle jealousy in this co-dependant relationship, ugh. I just don't want to read any of this anymore. I read a lot of problematic shoujo, but this one really stands out...

Kai is moving his way up to being my favorite character in this series and he just showed up. He’s so sweet and tender with Mei and I really liked what he said to her about not having her whole world be revoked around Yamato. I wish Mei would get with him instead of Yamato because he’s on thin ice with me. He’s jealous of Mei spending time with Kai but has spent time with girls that were actively trying to ruin his relationship with Mei. I’m just so tired of the miscommunication. Aiko is also growing on me. I wished they kept her as a villain for awhile because honestly Megumi is just so blah….

I’m gonna continue reading this but I hate when mangas have 10+ volumes but the storylines are just dragged out. Like we could’ve had time spent on developing Mei and Yamato’s relationship before introducing another rival. P.S, I really hate the cover of this manga. It just looks really off-putting and weird.

This one doesn’t have very good transitions between scenes or scene setups. I thought I had missed a panel or page.

Also I was kinda of upset that Yamato decided not to confront either mei or Kai with what megumi I said to him. Instead he pulls away from mei.
